Two Qajar steel standards, Iran, 19th century
Each acid etched with cylindrical handle, one with three prongs decorated with calligraphy and arabesques, the other with two prongs decorated with figures and animals -- 25¼in. (64.1cm.) max. long; and a large steel knife, decorated with animals and figural cartouches -- 22½in. (57cm.) long. (3)
