A fine late 19th-Century small full-size vertical stationary steam set,
by Radiguet, with riveted copper water tube boiler with brass fire door surround and cast brass door and fittings including water and pressure gauges, weight and lever safety valve, level test cocks, blowdown and other cocks, and main stop and steam line with oiler to single cylinder engine 1 1/8in. bore x 1¾in. stroke, centrally mounted inclined valve chest, draincock, forked connecting rod with overmounted crankshaft supported on two doric columns raised on pedestals forming part of the cast iron base. Further details include eccentric driven feed pump, chimney mounted superheater, cast curved spoked flywheel and smaller diameter pulley, both rims with 'V' grooves, finished in polished brightwork -- 56cm. (22in.) high and 14.5cm. (5¾in.) diameter. (Some restoration)
