Bugatti T43 Grand Sport: 1/8 scale
With the T43 Ettore Bugatti took a race proven chassis and adapted it to fast road use for up to four occupants with the Grand Sport style of coachwork. It featured a single door on the left in order to maintain stiffness but provided excellent performance for the period with leather seats to the interior and a folding hood that would provide adequate shelter from the elements for its passengers. T43 was as much at home on rallies, Alpine trials and hillclimbs as it was touring with a top speed of 100mph ; Between 1927 and 1930, a mere 160 Bugatti T43s left the factory . The model is finished in brilliant black with red leather seats. Length 54cm, width 21cm, height 18cm.
