Chancery 2° (275 x 195mm). Gothic type, large Maiblumen capitals 1a, small outline capitals, scattered rubrication consisting of red highlights to woodcut initials, capital strokes, paragraph signs, and underlines, blind bearer type visible at foot of a few leaves. (Intermittent dampstains to blank margins, small holes to two leaves with losses to two or three lines of text, 1/3.8 reinforced at inner margin, a few smudges and stains.) Modern morocco by Wood of London, reusing original bevelled boards, preserving two early flyleaves at front.
