ELIZABETH TAYLOR AND RICHARD BURTON SIGNED DOCUMENTS
1960s
Three contracts, each two to three pages in length. The first is a document signed by Elizabeth Taylor agreeing to appear in court on October 29, 1965 for a lawsuit brought against her by ex-husband Eddie Fisher, from whom she was divorced in March 1964. The other two contracts are agreements for Taylor and Richard Burton to appear together in the 1964 film The Sandpiper (Filmways) in which Taylor plays a beatnik and Burton plays an Episcopal priest whom she seduces. Taylor married Burton nine days after her divorce from Fisher on March 15, 1964. Also present is a certificate of authenticity.
