An RIAA Sales Award presented to Brad Elliott to commemorate certified platinum sales of more than 1,000,000 copies of the Capitol Records album, cassette and CD Pet Sounds. Released in 1967, Pet Sounds reached Gold Album status quickly after its release, but with the resurgence of interest in The Beach Boys' album in 2000, it was certified platinum.
