Edo period (19th century), signed Jugakusai Ishiguro Masayoshi, and with kao
The oval shakudo nanako plate decorated with a peacock and peony under cherry blossoms, and two small birds perched on the tree and two others flying on the front, the reverse with a peacock and a two small birds near a cherry tree by a stream, all in takabori gold, silver and copper inlays; squared rim

With a certificate of registration as Hozon tosogu (Sword Fitting Worthy of Preserving) no. 446267 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword), dated 2004.6.29.
