Meiji period (19th century), signed Togintei Yoshiteru and with kao [Sato Yoshiteru (1828-1902)]
Each mokko shape with a shakudo nanako ground decorated in gold and silver relief with swallows in cherry trees and a heron in a stream on the dai tsuba, the sho tsuba decorated with geese before a full moon and a hawk watching a sparrow from a pine branch; rims gold
