Edo period (19th century)
Oval, decorated on the iron ground on both sides with scenes from the Tale of the Heike, the front with Yoshitsune leading his troops down a cliff at Ichinotani, the reverse with Atsumori pursued into the sea by Kumagai Naozane, all in gold, silver, copper, shakudo and shibuichi takazogan, the clouds carved in sunken relief
