With long snout and flattened ears, striations over the body indicating the bristles, leg restored, 2 7/8 in. (7.4 cm.) long; a Near Eastern terracotta stallion standing foursquare on long tapering legs, the flattened head with punched eyes, repaired with restoration, 2400-2200 B.C., 6¾ in. (17.2 cm.) high; a Coptic terracotta camel supporting a lamp, the twin spouted lamp on raised stem emerging from the camel's hump, the camel with detailed bridle and saddle in low relief, repaired, circa 800 A.D., 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) high; a Parthian terracotta figure of a laden camel, standing with high stylized hump, repaired with restoration, probably 1st-2nd Century A.D., 6 1/8 in. (15.5 cm.) high; and a terracotta bull with laden pack on shoulders, a roundel between the horns and detailed expressive features, Levantine, circa early 1st millennium B.C., 5¼ in.
