the complete set of 12 signed etchings with aquatint in colors and an additional four signed etchings in black, including two cover pages and the etching for the spine, hors-texte, two title pages, text in French, and two justifications, on Japon nacré, signed by the author on the last text page of both volumes, nine numbered, copy 2 of 15 (there were also 30 on Richard de Bas and 130 on Arches including only seven prints), with full margins, loose (as issued), occasional pale foxing, (D. 1122) with minor surface soiling at the upper plate edge within the image and creasing along the upper margin edge, otherwise generally in good condition, in two volumes, original grey laid paper-covered boards with brown cloth-covered slipcase, lacking one variant etching (D. 1123). 300 x 211 mm.
