Jose Leandro Andrade played in all four of the Uruguayan's 1930 World Cup matches. In the first match played on 18th July 1930, Uruguay defeated Peru 1-0. In the second match played on 21st July 1930, Uruguay defeated Romania 4-0. In the Semi-Final match played on 27th July 1930, Uruguay defeated Yugoslavia 6-1. In the Final played on 30th July 1930, Uruguay defeated Argentina 4-2 to win the first-ever World Cup Tournamemt, all four matched played at the Centenario Stadium
