In August 1946 he joined Arsenal and because of National Service he did not make his senior debut until May 1949. He made over 80 League appearances for Arsenal before being transferred to Sunderland in June 1953. He briefly joined Cardiff City in October 1957, before rejoining Swansea Town. Thereafter, he joined Hereford United as player/manager and had seven successful years there in the Southern League. Daniel had a successful International career for Wales and between 1951 and 1957 he played for his country on 21 occasions. THE FOLLOWING LOT RELATES TO THE CAREER OF RAY DANIEL
