ENGLISH HISTORY, 16th-17th CENTURY. A warrant issued in the name of an unnamed king [Henry VIII?], to the Sheriff of Denbighshire, charging him to come to 'the newe bridge under Chyrke being the Conffynes of our Counties of Sallopp and Denbigh' to receive into custody one Richard ap John David, in a fine secretary hand on paper, one page, oblong 4to; with a collection of approximately 35 other manuscript documents, the majority indentures and other legal documents of the 17th Century, on vellum and paper; together with 4 printed items, and a quantity of seals (the majority fragments).
