with orange glass bead eyes, blonde mohair, swivel head and pin-jointed limbs, wearing a home-made tin helmet and steel sword with leather handle grip and scabbard, 1st World War --3½in. (9cm.) high (some wear and missing ears); two 1st World War Service Medals - British War medal and Victory medal, both inscribed 197170 GNR. T.H. MC CARTHY. R.A. with ribbons; two dog tags; Kitty's silver and enamel R.F.A. sweethearts badge; six embroidered post cards sent from France to Kitty; various photographs including Kitty as a child and young woman, possibly Tom and Kitty walking along the sea front in the 1950s and others; a Britains set of Royal Field Artillery and gun; and a quantity of memorablia relating to their son Robin including his 2nd World War Service medals; birthday cards from his parents; various childhood and wartime photographs
