Dorothea Lambert Chambers was the leading female tennis player in the period prior to World War One. Chambers won the Wimbledon Singles title seven times (1903-04, 1906, 1910-11, 1913-14), a record surpassed only by Helen Wills Moody. The above album relates to Chambers's 1906, 1910 and 1914 victories and 1919 defeat.
