A RARE GILT-SPLASHED BRONZE ROSEWATER SPRINKLER
CAST XUANDE SIX-CHARACTER MARK, 18TH CENTURY
Of pear shape with a slender knopped neck and standing on a domed foot, crisply cast in shallow relief around the body with two horizontal bands of Arabic inscription between two raised lines, the bronze with light brown patina highlighted with irregular gilt splashes
8½ in. (21.5 cm.) high
