A set of fifty-six prints from the 1804 series Tokaido gojusan tsugi [The Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido], eight in horizontal tanzaku format, the remaining forty-eight koban designs are printed two-on-a-sheet and are uncut, variously signed Hokusai ga and Gakyojin Hokusai ga, very good impressions, generally very good colours and good condition, some with wear to edges and some with browning of the paper
