Tibet, circa 17th Century
Seated in padmasana atop a double lotus base over a columned openwork frieze of elephants, lions and a gana, his hands in bhumisparsa and dhyana mudras, wearing a close-fitting robe incised at the hem, his face with gently modeled features with rounded face and downcast eyes, with traces of blue pigment on his hair and gold gilding on his face, the base sealed with copper plate
