Cal. 8020 nickel-finished lever movement, 40 jewels, the off-white dial with applied Arabic numerals, outer tachymetre scale and five minute divisions, two subsidiary dials indicating flying 1/8ths seconds and 30 minutes register, in heavy circular case with extended downturned lugs, the back secured by seven screws and engraved with the Ferrari emblem and inscription Scuderia Ferrari 1929 - 1999 Girard-Perregaux chronographe à rattrapante "foudroyante" No. 17/150, split seconds chronograph mechanism operated through two round buttons in the band and through the crown, 18K pink gold Girard-Perregaux deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by Girard-Perregaux Certificat d'Authenticité dated 30 August 1999, instruction manual and original fitted red lacquer presentation box with inlaid Scuderia Ferrari emblem, the interior fitted for the storage of up to nine watches.

The S.F. (Scuderia Ferrari) Foudroyante model was produced in a limited edition to celebrate the 70ths anniversary of the famous Scuderia Ferrari in 1999. 150 examples each in titanium, yellow, pink and white gold were made.
