Manuscript compilation of approximately 38 verse anthems for two to four voices, the majority in a single clear mid 18th-century hand (3 in a later hand), including works by Purcell (7), Croft (9), Blow (8), Humfrey (6), William Lawes, Jeremiah Clarke, William Turner (2) and William Tucker (2) and others, the vocal parts only for the choral and solo sections, notated for treble, alto, tenor and bass, without instruments, one leaf (inverted at the end of the volume) with psalm tones by Blow and King, together 214 pages (paginated 1-210), folio (345 x 250mm), index (part in a later hand), 18th-century diced russia, gilt (a little worn, rebacked).
