Of irregular shape with rounded peaks of varying heights in imitation of an ornamental rock detailed with crevices, the well polished stone of an even milky white tone; accompanied on a fitted gilt-bronze rectangular stand supported on a splayed base decorated a stylised floral spray to each corner, incised on the upper surface with four-characters, Sizhi Shuwu, 'Studio of the Four Wisdom', one short side on the interior inscribed with wu, 'Number 5'
