This bear featured in Dean's 1954 catalogue and was the first of their bears to re-use the name 'Tru-to-Life' since the much earlier use of this branding. They were sold with the following advertising slogan 'Life-Like Paws with Nails that do Not Scratch! Life-Like Nose that is Soft and Cold to Touch! Life-Like Limbs by which it is assisted to Walk!
