ASSOCIATION COPY, GIVEN BY W.G. GRACE TO ROBERT STRATTEN HOLMES (front pastedown with inscription in Grace's hand: "Revd R.S. Holmes from W.G. Grace", also signed by W. Methven Brownlee, and dated in Holmes's hand "12.10.[18]87" -- further gift inscription from Holmes to Claude Leatham, dated 17.11.[18]96). Lord Russell refers to his interest in cricket on p. 10, and adds that he has "lived to see my highest cricket aspirations more than realised in Mr. W.G. Grace". There is no on-line record of this title in British institutional libraries, indicating that it is equally rare to the same author's Recollections of Cricket.
