Literature
Grima Retrospective, Goldsmiths Hall, London, 1991, p. 42, no.5, where it is noted that this brooch was cast in yellow gold by Andrew Grima from a piece of lichen sent to him by H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, who wished to have it transformed into a brooch. This is a interesting example of her personal involvement in the design of a jewel.
