An 18th century topaz and garnet demi-parure
Of girandole design, the entwined ribbon and bow brooch set with vari-cut topaz accented with garnets, the central flowerhead suspending a pear shaped pendant between flowerhead drops, and a pair of matching earpendants, probably Portuguese, in silver mounts with coloured foil backs, some colourless paste replacements, later brooch and hook fittings, fitted case by S.J. Phillips
