The hood with shallow pagoda top, brass sound frets and reeded columns, the trunk with line inlays and with moulded frame to the door, above rebuilt plinth with raised panel, the 12 inch (30 cm.) brass dial with bird and vase spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring, date aperture and signed on a plaque Benj:n Heeley/DEPTFORD, cut steel hands, with strike/silent ring to the arch, the eight day movement with five pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell; two weights; pendulum; cranck key
