a dog-fish, part-dissected, with labels; arboretum specimens of Salvinianatans and a colony of vorticella; fungus specimens Helvella crispa, Morchella semilibera and Mycena galericulata; a dissected frog prepared by E. Gerrard & Sons; the male urogential system of the frog, a marine sponge and a Pyenogonum littorale (sea-spider) all by the same preparers; a Myxicola infundibulum (sabellid worm); a pair of unidentified (?)marine gastropods; and a pair of Heteropoda sp. (Triantelope spiders); all in glass jars, the largest -- 38cm. (15in.) high, the smallest -- 8.2cm. (3¼in.) high (13)
