with thin copper wire frame, the case composed of red paper-covered cardboard with gilt-tooled decoration; two 19th-Century tortoiseshell simple magnifiers -- 4cm. (1 5/8in.) dia.; a 19th-Century tortoiseshell magnifier with copper decoration and sprung safety catch; two 19th-Century quizzing glasses; and a copper magnifier inscribed on one side Wm Henry Couper's Gift to his Mother. June 13th 1819 and on the obverse Who is not lost he's gone to dwell with Christ (7)
