with thin copper wire frame, the case composed of red paper-covered cardboard with gilt-tooled decoration; two 19th-Century tortoiseshell simple magnifiers -- 4cm. (1 5/8in.) dia.; a 19th-Century tortoiseshell magnifier with copper decoration and sprung safety catch; two 19th-Century quizzing glasses; and a copper magnifier inscribed on one side Wm Henry Couper's Gift to his Mother.
