The case with bell top, cast brass handles and frets to the sides, caryatid bust mounts to the front angles, with silvered sight ring to the dial, foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre, subsidiary rings above for chime/silent and chime on eight bells/Cambridge chimes, the eight day triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, hour strike on gong and quarter chimes on eight bells, with holdfast to the back plate -- 16 in.
