A Tibetan gilt bronze model of Hayagriva in Yabyum with his shakti, 17th/18th Century
in three headed form with six arms, four legs and feathered wings, the faces decorated in gilt lacquer, the dharmapala holds his blue haired shakti in a divine embrace whilst standing in pratyalidhasana and trampling on two prostrate figures, wearing an ornate headdress formed of skulls, a tiger skin, holding a kapala and lotus in his principal hands, the fiery orange hair hinged, the head forming a vessel beneath - 8¾in. (22.2cm) high.
