Lot Essay

Kim graduted from Hong Ik University in Seoul in 1978. From 1978 he has had numerous one-person and group exhibitions in Korea, Japan, the United States and Europe. He had one-person exhibitions at the Fine Arts Center, Seoul, in 1988, at Park Ryu-Sook Gallery, Seoul, in 1999, 2000 and 2002, at the Johyun Gallery, Busan, in 2003 and at the Korean Art Company Gallery, Seoul, in 2005. Kim's work is in the collection of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul, Sung-Gok Museum, Seoul, Hong-Ik University Museum, Seoul, and the Fredrick R. Weisman Art Foundation, United States.
