Peter Weller is well-known to genre fans for his title role in the cult favorite movie, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. In that film, Dr. Banzai invented an amazing device known as an "oscillation overthruster." Years later, when Weller guest starred in two episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise, several replicas of the overthruster were discreetly used as set dressing in the mining ship control room set. Director LeVar Burton even prevailed on Weller to use one replica as a prop in a scene!
