These pins represent the original version of the Romulan symbol, first seen in "The Neutral Zone" in Star Trek: The Next Generation. The predatory warbird was designed by Monte Thrasher. The Tal Shiar emblem, representing a raptor's wing, was designed by Ricardo Delgado.
