Lot Essay

The Ten Forward lounge on the Enterprise-D was located on Deck 10, on the front edge of the saucer. From that vantage point, crew members could relax and take in the grandeur of the cosmos through the lounge's huge windows. One could order a wide range of beverages at Ten Forward, as well as meals and snacks. If you weren't hungry, you could just meet your friends and indulge in a friendly game of three dimensional chess. Ten Forward was also the province of the mysterious Guinan, who was bartender, social director and confidente to most of the crew, including Captain Picard.
