Two theatrical wall flats made of wood and particle board, one doorway and one pair of nonfunctional futuristic doors, doors feature an interlocking design, one wall flat -- 8ft.x51in. -- and the other --47in. wide -- door arch -- 10ft.x133in. -- arch opening -- 7½x7ft. wide -- made for "These Are The Voyages" in Star Trek: Enterprise as seen in the holodeck, cargo bay, and shuttlebay sets on Star Trek: The Next Generation (2)

Lot Essay

The holodeck was one of the signature "inventions" of Star Trek: The Next Generation. It was a holographic environment simulator that allowed nearly any place or person to be re-created in amazing detail. Enterprise crew members used it for training, relaxation, exercise, and just unwinding. To them, these doors represented a gateway to the imagination.
