These costumes are prototypes for proposed new uniform styles for Star Trek: Phase II. In the end, it is believed that most of the Phase II uniforms would have been closely based on the third-season Star Trek: The Original Series costumes, although some of these prototypes would have undoubtedly found their way onto the screen.
