MERCHANT SPACESHIP MODEL
A spaceship model made of styrene and cast resin, painted as an aged, dilapidated merchant vehicle, extensive model-part detailing suggests the ship's operating systems and vectored engine nozzles, made from Saturn V model parts, are reminiscent of a Star Wars "Y-Wing" fighter ship, with small bag of parts and motion control mounting rod -- 32x18x10in. -- made by Industrial Light and Magic for Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, originally seen as Valkris's ship in the opening scenes of that film, destroyed by the Klingon bird-of-prey, redressed several times for different television episodes including the Altec ship in "The Outrageous Okona" in Star Trek: The Next Generation, the Sheliak vessel in "The Ensigns of Command" in Star Trek: The Next Generation, a Cardassian freighter in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and a Vidiian ship in Star Trek: Voyager
