etching and drypoint, 1879, on laid paper, a very good impression of the fourth (final) state, printed with tone and delicate wiping scratches in the lower right, on laid paper, signed in pencil with the butterfly and inscribed imp on the tab, published by the Fine Art Society, trimmed to the subject (as published), laid onto wove, some time staining, pale foxing, a small 4 mm. abrasion at the upper sheet edge just touching the sky, the borderline retraced in places with pencil, framed
