Each of baluster form, the rim with an applied torsade cobalt-blue ribbon within spiraling latticino threads, finely painted with three panels of loose bouquets featuring poppies, roses, convolvulus, irises and other flowers between bands of gilt foliate scrollwork above a turquoise-ground band, the foot and rim enriched with further bands of gilding
