Matthew Boulton's Medal for the Battle of Trafalgar, 1805
in pewter, as issued to all ranks, uniformed bust of Nelson left, rev. the fleets in action, lettered edge, black-toned and somewhat corroded as usual, set in a silver frame with watch-type loop for suspension but lacking both lunettes -- 2in. (4.8cm.) diameter.

By family tradition, this medal was presented to a seaman on Victory who assisted with the hoisting of Nelson's famous signal "England Expects.."
