The rectangular moulded top above two quarter-veneered and feather-banded doors, enclosing thirteen drawers with original brass handles and a central door with a further recessed fitted compartment, above a waist moulding with hidden pull-out drawer, enclosing a green leather angled writing-surface and three ink wells, the base with two short and two long drawers with associated handles, on later oak bun feet, replacements to cornice mouldings
