CIRCA 2ND CENTURY A.D.
The god standing with his right leg advanced, wearing greaves, their ties incised along his calves, a cuirass with pteryges and a Corinthian helmet high on his head, a mantle draped over his arms and across his back, his right arm raised, once holding a spear, his left hand lowered, perhaps once holding the rim of a shield, the cuirass with a gorgoneion above acanthus and tendrils, with thick curly hair, a full beard and moustache, the eyes inlaid with silver
