The necklace of 'tie' design, set with oval-shaped rubies to the articulated pear-shaped diamond border, bracelet and ear pendants en suite, made in 1980, necklace 37.0 cm long, bracelet 18.0 cm long, ear pendants 5.0 cm long, with French assay mark for gold; the ring designed as an oval-shaped ruby within a brilliant-cut diamond cluster surround, ring size 7¼, with French assay mark for gold, all in fitted brown suede Van Cleef & Arpels case
The suite signed Van Cleef & Arpels, nos. 29898, 30037, 126482SA; the ring signed and with maker's mark for Van Cleef & Arpels, no. 15057
Accompanied by report nos. 0607012 to 0607015 dated 12 September 2006 from the Gübelin Gem Lab stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, no indications of heating (4)
