The central cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 11.88 carats within old-cut diamond border of quatrefoil design to the pearl and diamond surround, mounted in silver and gold, with fittings for brooch, circa 1880, 6.4 cm. high, in red leather fitted case
Accompanied by report No. 9507042 dated 14 July 2005 from the Gübelin Gem Lab, stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, no evidence of heat treatment
