Lot Essay

Melina Havelock exacts her revenge on Cuban hitman Hector Gonzales [Stefan Kalipha], whom she witnessed murder her parents, by killing him as he dives into his swmming pool, using her Barnett Commando Crossbow, which she uses in the same sequence to kill one of Gonzales' henchmen before discarding the crossbow and escaping with James Bond [Roger Moore]. Melina's father, Sir Timothy Havelock, a British marine biologist, was helping the British government locate the whereabouts of the valuable ATAC communications device, lost when the British spy ship the St.George was accidentally sunk by a mine.
