The gorge case with engraved and matted mask to a white enamel Roman chapter disc, subsidiary seconds ring at XII and moonphase aperture below, signed E & E EMANUEL/3 THE HARD/PORTSEA & PARIS, blued steel hands, with subsidiary discs below for day, alarm and date, the eight day spring barrels movement with large gilt platform to bimetallic lever balance, strike/repeat/alarm on two gongs to back plate with repeat signature and numbered 2343, the underside with three-position sonnerie and moonphase adjustment levers, further stamped repeat signature; key
