Lot Essay

Pierre Jouffroy (active 1742-1786) is recorded as having worked in Pontarlier (Doubs) in 1743, however, a French glass painter under the name P. Jouffroy also exhibited repeatedly at the London Free Society and the Society of Artists in the years 1765-67.
