A FRENCH SILVER-PLATED TEA-KETTLE AND STAND
CHRISTOFLE, PARIS, LATE 19TH CENTURY
The stand circular on four bun feet, with detachable associated plain lamp and cover, the baluster shaped kettle on two scroll supports, with leaf-capped scroll handle, slightly domed cover with flower finial, engraved with Greek cypher below Greek Royal crown, fully marked
17 in. (43 cm.) high
The cypher is that of King George I of the Hellenes, Prince of Denmark (1845-1913).
