A Chinese silver goblet, Hoaching 'H' workshop mark and Hui artisan mark, second half 19th century
the bell shaped cup with a lipped bamboo node rim above a plain band, decorated in repousse with birds and insects perched on bamboo and a monogrammed shield, supported on a tripod bamboo-shoot stem foot rising from the domed and stepped base with repousse rockwork and roots -- 7 11/16in. (19.5cm.) high, 8.5oz.
